The DoubleTree by Hilton London is located in the heart of downtown London. This hotel is connected by a skywalk to the RBC place and is within a ten-minute walk away from the Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens The hotel has 323 rooms and suites, an onsite restaurant, a Starbucks, and 34,000 square feet in banquet and meeting spaces. This full-service hotel also offers a well-equipped fitness centre and pool and a fully equipped business center.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and replenishing guest rooms, while providing exceptional guest service

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions**:

- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents.
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
- Strip and make beds and change bed linens.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
- Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
- Collect daily task sheet, sign for room keys, retrieve cart and push to assigned rooms.
- Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance.
- Ensure cleanliness of storage areas, corridors and housekeeping carts.
- Report lost and found following procedures.
- Perform deep cleaning duties as allocated by the Supervisor on duty.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons
