**Mortgage Agent Position**

**Mortgage Agent's Duties and Responsibilities**
- Analyzing applicant’s credit history and financial information to assess eligibility
- Answering inquiries and questions from lenders and brokers
- Creating business relationships with brokers and customers

**Mortgage Agent's Skills and Qualifications**

The Mortgage Agent must have extensive knowledge of the mortgage process, including all necessary paperwork. Working on behalf of the lender, they must work with integrity and discernment. Top skills for a Mortgage Agent include:

- Exceptional communication skills to correspond clearly with brokers and clients
- Time management skills to complete tasks promptly
- Ability to assess a client’s credit and to analyze financial data, including tax returns and other financial documents
- Comfortable prioritizing their work schedule and required tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,092.00-$178,783.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

**Experience**:

- Mortgage: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Mortgage Agent Licence (required)
