**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB**

The person in this position will receive product orders. He or she will have to communicate regularly with certain departments, branches and suppliers to ensure effective and efficient exchanges by the department.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Receive orders from various departments;
Communication and negotiation with suppliers for all returned goods;
Management and follow-up of orders on a daily basis;
Maximize orders to minimize costs;
Organize and manage the inventory of products;
Receive, unpack, validate, price check and forward merchandise to the appropriate department;
Ensure security and access to the warehouse;
Any other task related to the warehouse.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Individual workstation, standing at a workstation. Work hours are 40 hours / week day, Monday through Friday as needed (1 hour for lunch) and may vary depending on operational needs.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**

Minimum 1 year of experience in receiving and shipping of merchandise;
Good knowledge of simple calculations; Fluency in French and basic English spoken and written;
Concern for and pride in a job well done;
Ability to execute quickly; Negotiation skills;
Ability to effectively manage day-to-day priorities;
Ability to use good judgment and project a professional image;
Ability to use judgment and project a professional image;
Versatility and flexibility in the performance of duties;
Willingness and ability to work well in a team environment.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**

Experience with suppliers.

Negotiation skills.

Efficient

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

Ability to speak English and French
