We are a local glass and glazing company located in Nanaimo, BC. We provide residential & commercial glass and aluminum products to contractors, developers, building owners and retail clients on Vancouver Island. **Terms**:Permanent, Full-time. Worksites are located throughout Nanaimo and surrounding areas so a vehicle to get to various project locations or access to transit a must.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Cut, measure, and prepare glass products.
- Inspect job materials for damage and flaws
- Install glass and sealed units into various glazing systems.
- Shower and tub enclosure and mirror installation.
- Commercial store fronts and curtain wall installation.
- Replace and repair glass, windows, doors, and specialty products.
- Installation of aluminum frameworks as needed.
- Optional: Automated door installations.

**Qualifications**:

- Dedication to safety is a must.
- Must be able to lift 80-90 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Previous glazing experience an asset.
- Construction experience an asset.
- Drivers licence an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
