We are growing and with 100+ team members we are seeking an exceptional **Physician** **Admin **Support** **Team Lead **to oversee a team of administrative support who have one goal - to manage the clinic days of our Cardiologists as efficiently as possible so that they can focus on patient care. The Team Lead will collaborate with healthcare professionals and administration to ensure smooth operations and the best patient experience out of any other medical clinic in Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and mentor a team of Physician Admin Support, by providing ongoing guidance, training, critical feedback and support, including annual performance reviews to ensure high-quality administrative practices.
- Assist with recruiting and selecting administrative support staff who align with our mission, vision, and culture.
- Manage the scheduling and workflow of the physician administrative support team, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of services.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to identify opportunities for improved administrative support and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to administrative support services, including operational metrics on the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and look for ways to improve and to effectively utilize resources.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, including those related to patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Act as a liaison between physicians, administrative employees, and other members of the healthcare team to resolve issues and facilitate communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.


**Qualifications**:

- Degree/diploma in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cardiology clinic or similar environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems i.e. Cerebrum, EPIC
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to oversee and lead a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound judgments under pressure
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting priorities
