A marine agent is responsible for overseeing a foreign vessel's call to Canada and ensuring that required formalities are attended to, all while keeping the involved parties updated and well informed. The ability to think outside the box, provide effective solutions, and overcome unexpected challenges is indispensable

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparing relevant pre-arrival, customs, and port documents.
- Coordinate the arrivals & departures of vessels.
- Attending ships in various ports.
- Reporting port operations & updates to the relevant parties.
- Maintaining customer relations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours.
- Own a well maintained and working vehicle & ability to travel between ports.
- Fluent knowledge of the English language, oral and written.
- Good knowledge of French is an asset.
