**Client Services Worker (7 Month Contract)**

**Position Summary**
Based out of Scotia Square, and reporting to the Manager, Parking Services, the Client Services Worker is responsible for ongoing building maintenance and repairs while ensuring Crombie premises are maintained to high standards of quality while maximizing the parking customer experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to Client and Client Services requests for assistance in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain grounds and facilities according to Crombie standards.
- Perform ongoing building maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to: light plumbing, painting, and general repairs, and maintenance.
- Complete inspections and maintenance checklist items daily to promote operational effectiveness, and a clean and safe facilities appearance.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as: wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, trash removal, access gate repairs, drainage monitoring & clearance, general cleaning including signage and parking equipment, power sweeper operation, general facility monitoring for maintenance work required, and golf cart operation and maintenance.
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
- Perform daily property inspections.
- Understand the importance of safety in the workplace and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist with parking pay station cash pickups as a safety escort.
- Parking equipment operation, repairs and power resets as needed.
- Parking equipment ticket stock replenishing.
- Occasional flexibility in work hours for event coverage.
- Perform duties such as snow and ice removal from areas around the property in collaboration with snow removal contractor.
- Respond to building emergencies when required.
- Conduct investigations into building operations issues when required.
- Other duties and special projects as required.
**The profile we are looking for**
- Grade 12 or acceptable equivalent in education
- Trade certification considered an asset
- Ability to understand equipment manuals and read drawings when required
- Beginner level Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook)
- Strong maintenance skills
- Previous experience in commercial property maintenance considered an asset
- Experience working with property maintenance software programs (i.e. Angus Anywhere) considered an asset
Capability to meet the role’s medium physical demand level - lifting and/or carrying: occasional 26 - 50 pounds; frequent 11 - 25 pounds, and constantly 1 - 10 pounds, including:
- bilateral lifting/lowering from floor to shoulder - 10-50 pounds
- bilateral lifting/lowering above shoulder - 5 pounds
- unilateral lifting/lowering from floor to shoulder - 5-15 pounds
- unilateral lifting/lowering above should - 5 pounds
