**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The Cable Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of cables and telecommunication systems for commercial clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems in offices in the Ottawa area.
- Use hand tools to connect wires to outlets and equipment
- Test connections to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with cables and connections
- Educate customers on how to use and maintain their cable services

**Skills**:

- Mechanical knowledge to handle tools and equipment
- Proficiency in working with category 6, fibre optic systems
- Familiarity with hand tools used in cable installation
- Knowledge of data cabling and fibre optic installations.
- Understanding of low voltage systems

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- cable installation: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence and a car to get to the office in Kanata (required)
