The Warehouse Team Lead - Receiving will monitor and ensure all assigned tasks within the receiving department are completed in a timely manner. This position will take a lead role to ensure that all staff adhere to proper process and procedures as outlined to ensure a consistent flow of product into and through the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day shift receiving staff and daily operations
- Assign and monitor functional tasks within the receiving department
- Co-ordinate and communicate all aspects daily work assignments as per the receiving supervisor
- Ensure daily assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot Receiving/Put Away/Replenishment etc. issues as they occur
- Communicate building maintenance, equipment maintenance, safety policies and operational policies to and from receiving staff members
- Work in conjunction with afternoon and night staff to ensure proper storage of products within the warehouse
- Active working member of the receiving staff participating in daily functions of the department
- Assist in the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of Receiving processes and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe yard environment
- Work on any given "special" assignments
- Executes all other duties required by the position and/or asked by the immediate supervisor
- Other related distribution center duties to support business needs as required

Qualifications:
**You Must Have**:

- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a leadership role in a warehouse environment
- Experience in operating various forklift equipment
- Experience working with ERP & WMS systems
- Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving, and leadership and customer service skills to effectively build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- A team-first attitude and an ability to provide effective direction to team members
- Strong communication skills, ability to convey messages in an organized, clear, and effective manner
- Exceptional time management and organization skills, with the proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines
- A self-starter with the ability to lead a team by example and exercise independent judgment and initiative
- Ability to lift upwards of fifty (50) pounds
