Panel Operator/monitor

The Panel Operator/Monitor is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of assigned jobsites in the SmartCenter Control Room. This includes communication with onsite Field Personnel, the initiation and operation of all onsite heat cycles and jobsite project management functions.
- **This position requires strong computer and technical skills. In addition, this position also requires shift work - 12 hour days, nights, weekends.**_
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Complete day to day Project Management responsibilities for all assigned Projects: including but not limited to; updating Project Status, ensuring Weld Watch accuracy and Document Management Instruction (DMI) management.
- Contact assigned onsite Field Personnel at the start and end of each onsite shift.
- Review and comprehend all assigned heat treatment support documentation including Heat Treatment Cycle direction, OK to Heat Treat method and Wrapping Specification Sheet or hand sketch.
- Initiate onsite heat cycles utilizing Rig Control software by downloading cycle profile to onsite process controllers.
- Operate onsite equipment during heat cycle process, monitor equipment for process alarms.
- Provide technical heat cycle troubleshooting support to onsite Field Personnel.
- Create heat cycle charts.
- Document all heat cycle non-conformities utilizing Non-Standard Operations form.
- Document all Project specific process concerns utilizing Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) Report form.
- Create and manage Project specific task assignment utilizing Outstanding Task system.
- Assist in the coordination of the receipt and return of assets to assigned jobsites.
- Complete a shift turnover to incoming Panel Operator at the end of all Shifts.

**EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS**

- Secondary Diploma in a related field
- Superheat will provide relevant in-house training
