**We are currently hiring a Boiler & Evaporation Supervisor to join the team at our Goderich Evaporation Plant facility in Goderich, Ontario**.**

**HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM?**
- Ensure safe boiler evaporator plant operations, exceeding production goals and maximizing equipment performance.
- Build relationships with Maintenance, Boiler Evaporator, and Operations teams to foster collaboration to troubleshoot, optimize processes, and implement best practices.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify and implement improvements, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Proactively manage spare parts inventory and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain effective cleaning and maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Uphold and promote safety programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and company standards.
- Monitor machine performance and optimize operation schedules to control energy costs.
- Identify and address building and equipment repair issues, ensuring a safe and well-maintained work environment.
- Supervise the brine well operation and coordinate plant maintenance shutdowns.
- Maintain an up-to-date technical library for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Lead by example, ensuring adherence to all company standards, practices, and procedures.
- Take on additional tasks as needed, demonstrating a willingness to support the team.

Qualifications

**WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?**
- Must hold an Engineering degree in Mechanical / Chemical/ Industrial Engineering or a valid 2nd or 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate of Qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operating facility power distribution, steam generation, vacuum system, compressed air systems, water systems, hydraulics and building maintenance.
- Experience supervising and directing a team and other resources, within a unionized environment, to achieve results with specified timeframes.
- Control room experience - monitor complex processes and coordinate critical activities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing needed to legally operate specific plant machines (boiler license, etc.)

**WHAT IS THE WORK SCHEDULE?**
- This is a Monday-Friday position; additional time may be required to support the operations.
- If you do not live nearby, you will be required to relocate. A relocation package is available to those that qualify.
