Prince Albert, Canada Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited Full time

**If you are looking to use your leadership skills to take the 2nd Avenue Gas Bar to the next level, the Lake Country Co-op is looking for you You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire store.

**What you’ll do**:

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Managing and monitoring the store’s inventory, including restocking shelves, ordering new products, and ensuring that popular items are always in stock
- Lead all operational aspects including but not limited to ordering, merchandising, margins, expenses
- Effectively and efficiently managing the development and direction of the reporting team members
- Ensure that the store is well-organized and visually appealing, with products displayed neatly and in an attractive manner
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Who you’ll work with**:Reporting to the Director, Retail Energy, you will be a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a fun and passionate team to cultivate a culture of collaboration

**The Community**:Lake Country Co-op is in one of the best areas for hunting, fishing and outdoor experiences in Western Canada. It is a short drive to Prince Albert National Park that has over 1,500 lakes to visit and countless activities and events to choose from The city of Prince Albert has several parks and recreational activities as well from Little Red River Park, to the Mann Art Gallery, Alfred Jenkins Field house. There are fun-filled activities for the entire family. No Matter the season, there is endless adventure possibilities within an hour’s drive, making Prince Albert like no other place in Canada.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

- You have a grade12 or a combination of relevant experience; supervisory experience in a retail setting especially in the CRS is an asset
- You are able to work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work and the work of others
- You have experience with C-Store/Gas Bar operations and general merchandise
- You must be willing to obtain your propane dispenser & WHMIS certifications
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in the work that you do
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are an effective planner, and have superb time management skills
- You are flexible to work a variety of shifts including a weekends, evenings and holidays
- You are attentive to detail and are able to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
