**The Position**:
At Empipe Infrastructure Group, our SIPP Coatings Manager plays a crucial role in
overseeing and coordinating production efforts within our projects. They are
Manager will act as a vital link between the client, project management and
onsite activities. They will be ensuring the smooth execution of construction
projects while daily activities are conducted safely and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead project planning and execution
- Maintain and update QA/QC program
- Organize field staff requirements
- Provide mentorship to onsite staff
- Hold accountability for meeting project milestones
- Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
- Utilize assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage people and project a positive attitude

**A Day in the Life**:

- Oversee and plan job site set-up (equipment, materials, adapt to environmental conditions) including conducting site reviews according to requirements for traffic control, parking, paid duty officers, bypass confirmation, and site access
- Field installation, structural and non-structural polyurea and polyurethane, manhole, chambers pipes
- Supervise and direct construction projects according to contract documents
- Represent the company in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and implement schedules in collaboration with project managers
- Complete daily reports including daily journals, invoice trackers, health and safety documentation, and maintenance records
- Verify safety compliance across all labor forces, including subcontractors
- Review cost reports with project managers and address any budgetary concerns
- Maintain effective written and oral communication with clients and project representatives
- Analyze specifications and construction drawings
- Monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and specifications
- Enforce project quality control policies
- Teaching best practices
- Work with other members of the management team to design and deliver effective training to new employees and/or to cross training to existing employees
- Manage field staff and provide guidance as needed
- Profile employee issues as needed and participate in people management and disciplinary responses
- Act as back-fill support for field crews in urgent situations to complete tasks such as: cleaning/inspection and rehabilitation of pipelines, sewers, chambers, manholes, catch basins etc., confined space entry into underground structures, traffic control setup and teardown, mobilization of vehicles to and from job sites, operation of vehicles and equipment on site

**Job Details**
- 70% on site and field crew support
- 30% project management and estimating collaboration
- Travel is required from time to time for this position as our clients/contracts are within various municipalities, towns, cities, and provinces within Canada
- Monday - Friday with occasional nights and weekends depending on projects
- Must be able to lift 50lbs as needed, physical activity is required at times

**Requirements**:

- AMPP/NACE Level 2 preferred (NACE Level 1 minimum)
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the construction/water/wastewater industry
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work in MS Office programs & have basic administrative skills
- Proven leadership skills with a commitment to project success
- Must be agreeable to travel depending on business
