Turret Operator

**Job Type**:
Rotating Day Shift 6AM-6PM

**Type of Machine or Equipment Set-Up or Operation**:
**Water jet, Shears, Power presses, Saws, Drills, Brakes, Punch presses, Turret Punch,**
**Computer - numerical control equipment, Hand tools**

**Specific Skills**:

- Fabrication of piece parts (such as sheet metal and/or insulation) as per schematic under supervision of a Supervisor or Plant Foreman.
- Assembly of piece parts into final product under supervision of a supervisor.
- Ability to read blueprints and program machining equipment to produce required parts
- Ability to use metal working manipulation machinery (brake, shear, saw, punch etc) as required.
- Operation and programing of machine controls.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and notify General Foreman or Supervisor of malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance and upkeep of machine and work station.
- Assistance and compliance with company inventory requirements.
- Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery.
- Shop hygiene and 5-S program.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the Silent-Aire Manufacturing Incorporated safety program standards.
- Organize department and keep department clean, also clean department at the end of each work day.
- Inspect equipment to ensure good working order and notify General Foreman or Supervisor of malfunctions.
- Notify the General Foreman or Supervisor of any unsafe conditions, practices and/or procedures observed.
- May be required to move materials with forklift or overhead crane if trained and authorized.
- Other duties as required.
