General Carpenter

The general carpenter is responsible for completing a variety of job tasks which consists of planning and carrying out projects from layout to completion.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings

Operate hand tools, power tools and equipment to complete carpentry duties

Work with materials such as wood, plastic, laminates, or drywall

Constructed, finished and repaired or installed a variety of structural items

Load and unload materials, tools and equipment for job sites

Establish and maintain a safe work environment

Coordinate with subcontractors

Complete and submit daily paperwork reporting time and job duties

**REQUIREMENTS**

Experience Required

Understanding of carpentry techniques of installation and construction

Good understanding of basic math

Reliable Transportation

Excellent communication

Professionalism and great attitude

Dependable

Work well in a team environment and with little supervision

Knowledge of using manual equipment

**EDUCATION**

Highschool Diploma

Successful completion of carpentry apprenticeship program or 5 years carpentry experience

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Exeter, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
