In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.

As part of Noura's original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.

We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

**The Role**:We're looking for a motivated and organized Event Ambassador to join our Toronto Offline team on an as needed basis. You will work closely with our Retail and Brand & Partnerships team in helping execute community events.As part of our Offline team, you are the face of Mejuri and a very clear understanding and alignment with brand guidelines is required. As such, providing above and beyond customer service to all of our guests is a big part of the role. We view Retail as an experience: one that is unique, personalized, and feels like you've just met your new best friend. Our new Showroom space (and you) will help carve the path for Mejuri's offline footprint.We're looking for self-starters who love working with people, have experience in events and Retail and can accommodate a flexible schedule, including week-nights and weekends. **Responsibilities**:

- Evangelizing the Mejuri mission of empowering women to buy diamonds for themselves
- Supporting event activations _on an as needed basis_
- Interacting with clients on the Showroom floor
- Hosting in-store activations and partnerships for our community that enhance the customer experience
- Being part of set up and tear down of each event
- Being an expert on the Mejuri brand and on all Mejuri products, including sharing personal experiences
- Letting your naturally outgoing and energetic personality shine through while having FUN

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- Experience working in event management, event production and/or retail
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and problem solve creatively
- Comfortability with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment
- Eagerness to be at the frontline of a fast-paced and growing brand
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and be extremely detail-oriented (you sweat the details)
- Ability to keep cool under pressure
- Flexible scheduling including weekday evenings and weekends with an increased availability during holidays

**The Role**:
The Event Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving excitement and foot traffic to the store. This includes creating excitement with potential customers through brand education and highlighting current promotions and offers. This one day event will be held on Saturday September 16th, 2023.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with potential customers at street level to inform them of current promotions and offers
- Drive potential customers to our store by handing out Mejuri pamphlets
- Answer questions related to the brand, the store, and current promotions
- Be adaptable to changing needs throughout the day. Check-in with the store manager throughout the day for in-the-moment feedback and adapt to meet traffic objectives
- Capture observations and insights in a report to share back with the team

**KPI's**:

- Drive traffic and awareness to the retail store

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- Strong customers skills and a passion for interacting with people
- Possesses an outgoing, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude
- Previous work or school experience in a sales or customer service role is a bonus
- This is an entry level role
