**CNC OPERATOR**

**About the Opportunity**

**Your job functions include, but are not limited to**:

- Selecting appropriate router bits according to type of material to be cut.
- Pulls stock and restocks from/to storage locations, removes cut stock from machine and maintains production count and inventory accuracy.
- Uses computer to program the cut work to be done on the router.
- Package completed orders for shipping to customer.
- Performs preventative maintenance and other routine maintenance on equipment.
- Drive forklift to transport material throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain and clean and orderly work area.

In addition, skills, knowledge, and experience in the following are crucial to succeed in this role:

- Skilled in the use of CAD software. (_asset_)
- Ability to function effectively within a team environment while being able to operate independently when required.
- Ability to work effectively within expedited time frames.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changes in the production schedule.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with the use of inventory hand scanners.
- Background in plastic supply and manufacturing. (_asset_)
- Licensed to operate an electric counterbalance forklift. (_asset_)

Pay: $17.09-$27.66 per hour
