Community Development Manager

**Community Development Manager-Waldheim District Office**
Full Time, 40 hours per week. This position will be based out of the Saskatchewan District Office Located in Waldheim Saskatchewan.
Under the direction of the District Services Manager, the Community Development Manager (CDM) is responsible to initiate and lead new community service initiatives and programs. These initiatives may include the development and implementation of respite services, children’s services, early intervention, community-based residential services, facility closure initiatives, retirement programs, employment program developments and other models of services within Karis Disability Services.
The Community Development embraces the Christian Faith Foundation of the organization; ensures the Christian ethos and the Values, Vision and Mission permeate their job responsibilities; and personally commits to the expectations as outlined in the Statement of Faith.
**Experience**: 1-2 years previous experience
**Education**: College Diploma in a related field
**Skills or Required Training**:
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of community supports
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent report writing and proposal development skills
- Understanding of Developmental Services legislation and licensing
requirements
- Professionalism and strong negotiation skills
- Confidentiality
- Occasional research required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.35-$31.90 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
