Fibercon Network Infrastructures is a telecommunications construction and splicing company, focusing on fiber optic placement and network splicing. We construct both Bell and Rogers telecommunications plant, to provide customers with fast and efficient service. Our integrated solutions and project delivery strategies improve project timelines and processes, generating increased capabilities for ongoing projects.

We are looking to add a **Fiber Optic Splicing Technician, **specializing in Bell to our telecom splicing team.
- Monday to Friday: Day shift, usually starting at 6:30 and ending 8-10hrs

later
- Must join Local 183 Union
- Benefits, yearly pay increases and Pension with the union

**Required Qualifications**
- **Must be in Ontario**_
- Must have a valid “G” Driver’s License and a good driver’s abstract
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year long
- Good verbal communication skills and able to work with others
- Be in good physical condition
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be fully immunized against Covid-19
- Working at Heights Training and WHMIS is a must
- Knowledge with Bell CSP’s and Multi ports design is an must
- Knowledge with Rogers, LCP, NAPs, and Gpon design is an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Driving a high-top van everyday
- Job task organizing and planning
- Using complex tools and computerized systems
- Determining problems and solutions with those tools
- Able to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics
- Must be able to use a 28-foot extension ladder
- Building and splicing Rogers and Bell Fiber optic Network

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $32.54-$34.34 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
