Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their questions
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and security
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor as needed
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries over the phone
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist customers who speak different languages
- Technical sales knowledge (if applicable) to provide guidance on technical products
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and well-stocked sales floor

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Work setting:

- Specialty store

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
