Looking for an experienced heavy machinery operator (excavator, loader) to load aggregate and soil products safely into various transport vehicles. Other responsibilities include screening sand for various construction and landscaping uses. The operator will be responsible for opening the site in the morning and warming up all necessary equipment.

- pay attention to detail (loading correct weight and product into transfers)

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading aggregate and soil products into transport vehicles
- Screening sand for construction and landscaping products
- Routine service and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Opening site and warming up equipment
- Ensuring site is securely locked down and closed for the day
- Communicating with scale operations
- Communicating with trucks via radio

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience operating equipment, minimum of 2 years experience
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment service and maintenance
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment with dynamically shifting priorities and deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Attention to detail for weights of product
- Positive attitude and team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
