Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking a qualified full-time Educational Assistant 2, for a work assignment at our Four Winds Public School.
**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Temporary
**Initial Assignment**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in a Grade 5-9 classroom to support students with complex social, emotional and behavioral skills.
**Qualifications & Experience**: Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate; experience working with Autistic children is an asset; CPR and First Aid are desirable. Preference given to applicants with experience and training with Autism, Behaviors and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.
**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
