Equipment Dispatcher

As part of the CHABOT team, this position is part of the team responsible for the day-to-day scheduling for trucks, equipment and personnel to crew jobsites. The goal is to make sure that multi-site operations run smoothly and efficiently. The person in this role is responsible for managing the scheduling of fleet, equipment and personnel and producing reports for management that provide insights on operations of the company.

**Responsibilities & Duties**

This role is multi-faceted; encompassing a wide variety of tasks. Software required to perform these tasks includes: Fleetmatics and Microsoft Office programs including: Excel and Word.
- Workforce crewing and scheduling
- Record keeping: Daily schedule for fleet and sites, detail and summary, fleet fuel tracking, permits,
- Generating Reports: fuel consumption, schedule reports
- Routine oversite of company inputs; making suggestions to management on ways to improve.
- Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications Needed
- 3+ Years of similar scheduling experience
- professional and personable
- attention to detail
- knowlede of HR practices for hiring and onboarding
- ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- organized and efficient and able to work as part of a team
- be willing to take on challenges and responsibilities with a pro-active, positive attitude

This position is offered as a full-time, (50 hrs/wk) permanent position, starting with an hourly wage scale of $22.00-$25.00 per hour. Work shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Schedule will vary depending on seasonal project requirements. Suitable applicant must have reliable transportation to and from work as public transportation is not available.
