The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden is looking for a Host to join our team

We are a dynamic and dedicated team offering an elevated High Tea experience nestled in one of Victoria’s most beautiful and serene gardens.

Job Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience in either Restaurants or Retail
- Must be organized and have clear communication in person and on the phone
- Attention to detail and positive attitude
- A willingness to learn
- The ability to legally work in Canada

Starting wage $18 / hr + share of tip pool (typically $40-$60 per shift depending on sales)

Shifts are typically 6 hours in length, weekend availability is a must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC V8S 1H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
