**About this role**:
With over 226 acres of mature land, Glen Oaks Cemetery and Funeral Home are proud to serve a majority of the Mississauga, Oakville and surrounding area since 1980. Our Funeral Home was built in 2004 adding convenience of making all your arrangements at one location along with our crematorium on site for those families who wish to be cremated.

We are situated just one light west of the 403 on Dundas and Ninth Line making it easily accessible for visitors and services. With our expert landscapers, we have created a beautiful cemetery with plenty of flowers, trees, benches and ponds for a peaceful atmosphere. Many of our gardens are named and dedicated to religious organizations and cultural groups to accommodate for the large multicultural community.

**Job Type**:Part-Time, Permanent

**Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:

- Experience working as a crematorium operator would be an asset but is not required.
- Computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Good working knowledge of Mosaic
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- A team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask and set priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail with a consistently high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Exemplifies Arbor’s values of integrity, trust, teamwork and excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs all crematorium duties in accordance with Arbor’s Crematorium Operator’s Manual.
- Maintains crematorium by ensuring that all areas are swept, washed, dusted, vacuumed and disinfected.
- Completes all necessary paperwork and maintain storage system of all cremated remains.
- Places casket in the cremation chamber through loading device, sets cremation chamber and monitors cremation process to ensure a complete cremation.
- Processes and packages cremated remains into containers and ensures all containers are identified accurately.
