**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for running our procurement and supply chain processes efficiently and effectively by way of identifying improvement opportunities, leading internal operations and achieving objectives. Monitor supply markets and trends that relate to company strategies, identifying critical materials and services required, developing supply options and contingency plans that support company plans on an international scale. Establishing, maintaining and improving business relationships with suppliers.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** including but without limiting the following:

- Implement execution of procurement strategies
- Work with department managers to define requirements
- Seek out contracts with suppliers who meet all the needs of our organization
- Maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it
- Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintaining the legal interaction with them
- Managing any SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that may be in place and managing any Master Agreements between the suppliers and the company
- Liaison with other departments, particularly accounting, manufacturing and fleet
- Costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available
- Overseeing any large procurement projects that may be undertaken
- Annual Review of Supplier Scorecards
- Coordinate and record regular cross-departmental procurement meetings
- Recommend and Implement improvement opportunities
- Negotiations with suppliers and contractors
- Monitor and manage procurement, transfer and disposal requests
- Prepare and present Case reports and Board reports
- Assist and advise various departments in determining what products and services are required to be procured
- Authorize invoices and procurement requisitions according to internal processes (authorization matrix)
- Compliance with quality and safety management requirements
- Other duties as required from time to time

**ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL**
- Minimum of 3 years of Procurement Experience
- SCMP Designation preferred, but not required
- A minimum of intermediate knowledge in all Microsoft Office programs (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Internet Explorer
- Intermediate to advance in Excel
- Experience using accounting software
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Always approachable and professional in approach
- Able to keep several projects moving forward at once
- An ability to prioritize is a must
