**Scrum Master **for a
**full-time opportunity.**

**Role**: Reporting within the Mobile Mining Systems team, the Scrum Master is the champion of Agile for a group of professionals who deliver systems and infrastructure to ensure the safety, productivity, and environmental sustainability of our client's large scale mining and mineral processing operations. The team delivers and supports a mixed bag of telemetry and asset health systems - this opportunity will be a fabulous intersection of complicated systems and products with hard working teams who have vision and passion for solutions.

You are expected to facilitate our hard-working teams through their Scrum ceremonies, recommending appropriate approaches tailored to the team’s unique needs, while guiding decision making through collaborator and user engagement. A passion for users is a must, with a laser-focus on identifying user needs and priorities; and delivering solutions to improve outcomes. By guiding the user and employee experience of products and services across, you will be fundamental in redefining business processes.

There is some travel (mostly to the Elk Valley, BC) required.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provides team leadership, guidance, and mentoring in Agile.
- Assists with adopting strategies as part of an Agile Team.
- Facilitates on-the-job learning of essential concepts and tools that promote the adoption of modern service delivery and transformation.
- Manages and navigates changes in direction, including priorities and expectations, to ensure successful completion of sprint sessions.
- Manages communication to improve transparency and disseminate information.
- Leads and facilitates key Agile ceremonies as appropriate to the unique needs of the team, including planning sessions, stand-ups, product demos and retrospectives.
- Identifies and removes roadblocks and distractions that affect sprint commitments and prevent delivering of product features.
- Enables the Agile Team to become self-organized and empowered to deliver consistently on sprint session commitments.
- Maintains metrics using project management tools to provide visibility on product level plans, progress and quality assurance.
- Participates in field work and user research.

**To be Successful you will need to have**:

- 3-9 years of meaningful work experience with Agile and Scrum in any capacity
- Experience using human-centered design approaches.
- Experience with Agile product management tools, Azure DevOps, JIRA and MIRO being highly desired.
- Experience with Scrum across teams with different products and Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience helping teams choose the right approach to meet their unique needs.
- A critical thinker with experience in business analysis, project management, and organizational change management skills.
- Experience moving through projects shifting focus from small details to understanding the whole system and the relationship between them.
- Proven ability creating journey maps and service blueprints or other visual representations of user needs.
- Experience in modern analytical tools such as Tableau, Looker, Spotfire or Power BI would be an asset.
- Familiarity with documents such as RASCIs, Operational Readiness Checklists, Business Impact Analysis, Impact & Urgency Matrix, Service Level Objectives, support model workflow diagrams, etc. is not required but considered beneficial.
- Valid class five driver’s license, with a clean abstract. Comfortable driving on winter roads in remote areas.
- Valid passport and ability to travel to client operations in North and South America.

**Nice to have**:

- Working level Spanish would be an asset.
