OnyxCCS is currently hiring a Full-Time / Cleaner to work remotely for our Burlington Ontario locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Emptying waste bins and transporting them to a designated location.
- Floor care such as mopping, vacuuming and spot cleaning.
- Dust window ledges and baseboards.
- Clean high-touch surfaces
- Service washrooms.
- Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to the floor and fixtures.
- Always maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned area.
- Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and reporting equipment in need of repair to the Manager following standard procedure.

**Requirements**:

- Respect the equipment and cleaning supplies provided.
- Respect the client’s property.
- Be prompt and on time for all scheduled shifts.
- Familiar with cleaning and janitorial services. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend and lift safely.
- Must follow all required priorities.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.

Education: Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
