_Wesway is a local, non-profit organization which provides personalized respite services for families who are caring for a family member with a disability or chronic health condition. Wesway offers a dynamic team-oriented work environment and we are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:_

**Respite Workers**

Starting Wage Range: $16.73 - $21.38 plus $3.00 premium per hour

(plus 17.5% in lieu of benefits)

The Respite Worker is required to perform all duties usually performed by family caregivers in the day-to-day support of children, adults or seniors with a disability or chronic health condition in accordance with Wesway’s philosophy. The Respite Worker communicates with families regarding periods of respite, develops interesting and stimulating activities that are participant-focused, maintains a positive attitude with all participants and their families and demonstrates flexibility and creativity in providing respite support to families. Respite is provided at variable times including days, evenings and weekends. Respite Workers are matched with families or at our Respite Homes according to their abilities, experience, availability and the needs of the families.
