**Primary Responsibilities**

**The primary function of this role is to be the main point of contact for all business systems, related requirements and project execution for the production planning and control department. This role will be active in creating/implementing new business solutions, maintaining/improving all current business systems, and researching/implementing new technologies to meet the needs of production planning and control department.**
- **Act as the lead for new implementations and continuous improvement of existing business systems, processes and policies for production planning and control including Kinaxis, ERP, PLM, MES, etc.**

- **Implement standard work for collecting, evaluating, and prioritizing improvements/efficiencies projects for the business, while having a solid process for actively feeding back communications to the various stakeholders in the business**

- **Lead projects of varying sizes from planning through implementation**:

- **Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables through the Chartering process, interfacing between key Operations and IT stakeholders**
***:

- **Define project tasks and resource requirements**
***:

- **Plan and schedule project timelines**
***:

- **Monitor and report on status of the project to all stakeholders**
***:

- **Implement and manage changes and interventions to achieve project outputs**
***:

- **Training of users**
***:

- **Execute solution Deployment**
***:

- **Manage containment and RCCA activities of problems with newly rolled out implementations (using formal problem solving tools)**
***:

- **Document savings through the Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) process**
***
- **Drive Lessons Learned into documented processes to continuously improve new implementation/enhancement releases**
***:

- **Look for new technologies/innovations in the market place to develop new strategies to continuously enhance the Operations capabilities and efficiencies**
***:

- **Establish relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and execute projects/activities to meet targets**:

- **Responsible for approaching all activities with a continuous improvement mindset, and influencing others by setting the example**

- **Foster collaborative relationships with the OE, IT, Production, Configuration, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management teams, etc.**

**Desired Education and Experiences**
- **Must have a well rounded Project Management background with experience in a high tech environment**

- **Undergraduate Degree in Sciences, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), Advanced degree in data management / Analytics, or Equivalent work experience**

- **Experience in developing and presenting Technical Training considered an asset**
