Polisher and Beveler

**_General Responsibilities_**
- Keep production manager supervisor informed of day-to-day activity within department
- Verify all measurements provided on labels using a measuring tape are accurate
- Operate polishing and beveling machines in the building
- Ensure accurate materials are used
- Proper handling of glass and mirror
- Lift products manually or using the suction
- Ensure the quality of the product meets company’s expectations
- Ensure that equipment is kept in a clean manner before at all times
- Processing of necessary paperwork through all stages of production
- Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment
- Comply with safety rules; report all accidents, incidents and potential hazards immediately
- Respond to any Health and Safety recommendations submitted by the JHSC
- Understand and comply with the worker responsibilities and rights as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S) of Ontario, as well as, the Company’s safety rules
- Assistance anywhere in warehouse when required
- Ensure PPE (personal protective equipment) is worn at all times
- Attend various training sessions as requested by employer
- _All other duties as assigned_

**Salary**: $20.73-$21.82 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- polishing & Beveling: 2 years (required)
