We have been in operation for over 20 years and pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and quality food. Our full-service grocery store includes a scratch bakery, butcher shop, deli, commercial kitchen, Gourmet to Go Cafe, full kitchen, garden centre and giftware area. Market Fresh is a celebration of fine food—making us a destination shopping experience for community members and visitors. Our MF in the Community program seeks to raise awareness and funding for local not-for-profit programs and charities aligned to our mission to buy local, be local, support local.

**Job responsibilities for Gourmet to Go**
- Serve customers; coffee, hot table, pizza, sandwiches
- Create and cook pizzas as required by demand
- Use the espresso machine and coffee machine when required
- Grill wraps and sandwiches
- Learn the Bizerba and POS systems
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the department
- Other duties as assigned by Store Manager and/or Owners

- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials

**Work Conditions**
- Interaction with customers, employees, management in a fast paced environment
- Extended periods of standing
- Lifting, moving, manipulating objects up to 25 lbs
- Flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
