**Welcome Home**
We’re more than Canada’s largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer—we’re part of communities across the nation.
**Drive Success with Strategic Forecasting**
As the Replenishment Analyst, you will forecast, replenish, and manage inventory of categories and Suppliers to meet service and fill level targets, as well as financial key performance indicators (KPI’s). Led by the Replenishment Supervisor, this role will best suit someone who is analytical, can identify patterns and anomalies, and is a strong communicator.
**Ready to make an impact? Here’s how**:
- Set up and maintain item forecasts in Blue Ridge (i.e., forecasting software) for regular replenishment, promotional replenishment, and seasonal requirements.
- Optimize profit and turnover by analyzing Supplier performance, lead times, minimum order quantities, and order cycles.
- Ensure purchase orders (PO’s) are placed in a timely manner to ensure the in-stock position that meets our service level targets and inventory goals.
- Provide direction to the Replenishment Administrator for expediting and maintenance of PO’s.
- Maximize warehouse efficiency through strategic buy quantity analysis for in-season and out-of-season purchases.
- Identify untapped profit potential and gaps to ensure we meet our targets for our customer service level and fill rates while meeting turns, gross margin, and sales targets (i.e., forward buy management).
- Analyze reports regularly to stay on track with KPI’s, and take corrective action where needed for exceptions and deadlines.
- Collaborate with key Suppliers to provide forecasts and identify significant business opportunities, changes, or disruptions.
- Monitor customer service levels to identify underlying issues of poor performance. Regular monthly analysis into system parameters to monitor dollar spend and look for opportunities to reduce inventory and increase turns where possible.
- Work with Planners and Merchandise Managers to collaborate on targets and methods to meet those targets, as well as plan regular, promotional, and seasonal replenishment requirements.
- Focus on financial plans to support new category management and open-to-buy processes.
**We’re looking for**:
- College diploma in Inventory Management or Supply Chain, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to define and identify the source of an issue and explore all solutions possible. A focus on continuous education and learning to better identify issues and discover solutions.
- Recognize patterns that can produce required results or identify opportunities to improve forecasting.
- Ability to spot anomalies to improve processes and increase profit.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with an ability to prioritize.
- Retail financial business acumen.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of an Auto Replenishment System and basic functionality would be considered an asset.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
