Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll Clerk. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll for employees using accounting software systems
- Collect and verify timekeeping information from employees
- Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute direct deposits to employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other related information
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data is maintained
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management review
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a payroll or accounting role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Proficient in data entry and using accounting software systems
- Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies or errors
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
