Lead Summer Camp Counsellor

Our lead summer camp counsellor will be responsible for the following:

- Developing, supervising, and participating in camp-wide programming activities with campers ages 5-12
- Supervising 2 additional support staff
- Working co-operatively with other Camp Counsellors to ensure campers are safe, while maintaining adequate health and hygiene measures
- Building relationships with all campers by showing compassion, empathy and understanding
- Taking roll call at the beginning and end of every activity
- Providing positive feedback for parents
- Planning group adventures to local places in the community (within walking distance only)

Experience preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 weeks

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truro, NS B2N 1G7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
