**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are looking for committed staff to assist with all aspects of events:

- Prepare alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages for bar and guests
- Assessing customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations
- Arranging bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Mixing drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages according to drink recipe
- Maintaining safety and cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas
- Event Set Up/Breakdown
- Greet and engage with guests

**SKILLS**:

- Has the ability to prepare with style a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to serve to guests
- Has a good memory of guest and their preferences
- Excellent person to person communication abilities
- Punctual and can work well with others
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Follows directions and refrains from inappropriate behaviour

**EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND**:

- Must have at least 1 year bartending experience
- Extensive beverage and wine knowledge and creativity
- Natural leadership qualities

**EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION**:

- Must have their smart serve certification
- Food handlers certification is an asset

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate event requirements
- Ability to work for extended hours on feed.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally

**WAGE**

Minimum wage - $22/hr plus tips
