**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to maintain daily records and accounting for changes, extras, additional work, and the like.
- Responsible for efficient progress of the work and ultimately jobsite accountability for each project including budget controls, ensuring Amico meets intended construction schedules/target dates, job site efficiencies, co-ordination with Project Manager, tracking and identifying items of extra work/changes, review job cost to ensure compliance with estimate, final clean up and turn over.
- Comply with Amico’s safety policies and procedures.
- Perform necessary layout of underground utilities, civil structures, and road/parking lot works.
- Conduct topographic surveys for various uses (preconstruction surveys, quantity take-offs, as built construction).
- Calibrate and repair GPS/Total Station machine controls
- Conduct grade checks as needed.
- Prepare CAD files and 3D models to facilitate construction layout.
- Complete quantity take-offs as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**
- Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of survey practices and standards
- 3 years of experience in construction surveying, an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in using data, surveying and engineering-based software’s.
- Knowledge of engineering design and survey methods.
- GPS and total station experience required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Driver’s license (Class G), required
