Moody Ales & Co is one of the original craft breweries located on Brewers Row in Port Moody. Established in 2014, we have grown to be a mid-size brewery with distribution throughout British Columbia and into Alberta and Manitoba. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team in Port Moody.

**Position Summary**:
The Packaging Lead will work with the production team to accomplish and optimize packaging operations. Reporting directly to the Head Brewer, their education, experience, and aptitude will result in continued process improvements while meeting or surpassing target outputs.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Lead packaging runs while minimizing product and material loss
- Ensure product and packaging is within brand quality and technical specifications
- Perform, analyze, and improve packaging operations and respective company protocols
- Communicate and coordinate with production, packaging, and logístical teammates
- Clean and monitor packaging equipment, utilities, and facilities
- Repair and schedule preventative maintenance of packaging equipment
- Minimize downtime and ensure supply of wearable and replacement parts
- Conduct regular inventory of packaging materials
- Pursue new industry knowledge and professional development opportunities
- Actively look for ways to improve all areas of the brewery

- Forklift operation
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, and work in tight spaces for up to 8 hours at a time
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 kg unassisted and 65 kg assisted

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 year’s production brewing or packaging experience
- Engineering or manufacturing education a strong asset
- Experience with Wild Goose filling equipment a strong asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
