Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Loader Operator for our Aggregates facility located in Cambridge, Ontario.

**What You'll Get To Do**

The Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. The Loader Operator must also maintain all equipment as directed per policies, procedures, and operator manuals.
- Responsible for the operation of front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers and to load trucks or railcars.
- Perform routine maintenance on loaders, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
- Participate in making sure the quality and quantity of raw materials meets established standards.
- Ensure assigned established performance indicators are met.
- Work toward improvement of the assigned pit and surrounding area.
- Follow established environmental procedures to ensure that the pit for which he/she is working is in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and requirements.
- Participate in ongoing minor maintenance and visual evaluations of pit and equipment.
- Work with plant manager and other personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and may recommend solutions to improve performance.
- Adhere to all Heidelberg Materials and OSHA rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on pit grounds.
- Meet or exceed company safety standards.
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.

**What We Are Looking For**
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- 3 years Loader Operator Experience
- Must be a team player
- High school diploma preferred
- Common Core Certification preferred
