Skilled Carpenter

The Carpenter role is a front-line quality control position responsible for conformance with plans, specifications, building code, quality conformance, system function, and completion of any job specific details.

In this role, you will be responsible for general carpentry duties, identifying, communicating, coordinating and executing the final detailing, while assisting the site construction team in constructing homes to the high standard of quality and workmanship of Creek Stone Fine Homes effectively and safely.

This is a physically demanding job which requires the ability to handle heavy loads.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Competent in general carpentry - hoarding, form work, installation of doors and frames as well as parapets
- Competent with all power tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
