Beattie Film is a small business in Brockville, Ontario. We offer a professional and creative work environment as well as flexibility in your work life balance. All employees have a minimum of 2 weeks off (if not more) plus an additional 2 weeks ALWAYS at Christmas (Dec 23rd - January 6th). We don't penalize you for needing to head out to an appointment.

Our company goal is to bring businesses and organizations attention by creating unique & engaging content, using storytelling to help achieve our clients goals. we do this primarily through a retainer model to provide monthly content for our clients.

Pay: The range listed depends on your experience and portfolio work and also is not limited necessarily. There is room to develop and grow as the company grows both in the educational and financial sense

Primary Responsibilities:

- Be able to film high quality interviews, broll and understand how to capture stories for marketing, documentary and short film styled videos.
- Understand how to offload and manage the data from video shoots and file them properly on our Permanent and Portable Hard Drives when applicable and other potential methods so our editor can easily access them.
- Pack gear that needs to be brought for each shoot such as lighting, cameras, lenses, SD card, drones etc. in order to capture the best possible content.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for video/film shooting

Secondary responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into high-quality social media videos using Adobe Premiere, and After Effects and potentially some other editing software
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
- Ensure that all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the overall video experience

**Requirements**:

- Good communicator and conversationalist. Most days of the week, this job will require you to be interacting with our retainer clients to shoot interviews and broll. You must be able to represent the company well and be personable
- Ability to operate cameras such as Sony FX3, FX6, A7III and others.
- Proven work experience as a Videographer or similar role
- Proficient in using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and potentiall other editing software
- Strong understanding of video shooting techniques, including composition, frame rates, shutter speed choices, filters, lens selection etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the creative team
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$43,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- video shooting/capturing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Basic Drone Operators License (not necessary) (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Brockville, ON K6V 3P7 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
