**Metrie is hiring for a Machine Operator Trainee (Day Shift) in Edmonton, AB**

**What You’ll Do**

As the Machine Operator Trainee, you will have the opportunity to help our business meet production targets by consistently producing high-quality interior finishing products in our Edmonton, AB facility.

**Key Interactions**: You will report directly to the Production Manager in Edmonton and will be a key member of the Metrie Edmonton Manufacturing team.

At a high-level, you will:

- Produce products to meet work order specifications while meeting high standard of quality
- Operate our machinery and equipment to the specifications of the manufacturer
- Support plant continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure daily production continuously meets requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec)
- Participate in cross-training with other departments on the production line to further your skillsets

**Who You Are**

We will provide in-house training to help you be successful in this role **No experience is necessary.**
- Are comfortable operating machinery and standing/walking for long periods
- Have a positive attitude, lead by example, and are respectful towards your team members
- Understand the importance of health and safety at work and can follow instructions
