Daycare Custodian

Welcome to Blüm Childcare Academy A newly-built modern licensed childcare facility in Tuxedo Park and West Hillhurst, Blüm is looking for an experienced and passionate **Custodian** to join our world-class team at one of our locations.

The **Custodian** is responsible for the care and maintenance of the academy by ensuring proper sanitation methods are followed in order to keep a clean, safe, and orderly space. They should also promote professionalism and uphold the image of the academy.

**The duties of the position are as follows**:

- Collect and take out garbage and recycling
- Disinfect and clean washrooms
- Disinfect and clean team lounge including fridge, microwave, coffee machine
- Ensure all soaps, paper towel, and toilet paper is stocked
- Sweep and mop all floors
- Washing and disinfecting toys on a weekly schedule
- Washing all laundry
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces and door handles
- Dusting
- Washing windows/glass and window sills
- Disinfecting shoe shelves and boot trays
- Monitor stock of cleaning supplies

Please Note: all applicants must be legally entitled to live and work in Canada, and be currently living in Calgary.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
