This position is for a Bus Driver that has at least a Class 4 Unrestricted driver's license. The position is 3 hours per day. 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 2 pm to 3:30pm. Driver must be available for these hours Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a responsible and mature bus driver for our Before and After School Program. Driving involves a simple route between the childcare centre and two elementary schools in the Westwood Plateau area of Coquitlam.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of safety
- Provide excellent care to children, ensuring a positive, professional and comfortable experience
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Follow established routes and schedules, while also being flexible to accommodate unexpected changes or delays

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a bus driver is preferred
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial

**Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengers
- Proficient in reading and understanding, schedules, and route information
