**Job Description**:
We currently have an opening for a **GIS Analyst** in our **Calgary** office. As part of a team of professionals this role includes supporting environmental and engineering professionals in all aspects of project delivery from proposal development, figure generation, data management, and spatial analysis. There are opportunities for you to help develop the GIS practice area within the office and company.

What you will be doing:

- Contributing technical expertise to a variety of projects within our environmental and engineering subsidiaries.
- Preparing high-quality figures, maps and data sets.
- Creating and managing spatial and tabular data.
- Managing time and budget for assigned tasks.
- Contributing to business development, proposal writing, and fostering client relationship.

**Job Requirements**:
What you will bring:

- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant field and/or applied technological program (graduate degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a professional or consulting environment considered an asset.
- Experience with ArcGIS, ArcPro and ArcGIS Online; experience with QGIS, Manifold GIS, and Global Mapper would be considered an asset.
- Programming skills in SQL and Python would be considered an asset.
- Experience with remote sensing and drones would be considered an asset.
- Strong time management and organizational ability.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
- Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
- Ability to think strategically.
