**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Meat Cutter** **at our Lorette Food Store, located at 11 Laramee Drive, in Lorette, Manitoba. The Meat Cutter** **adds value to our Co-operative by preparing fresh, high quality meat products for our customers and assisting the Meat Manager with administrative duties. This position reports to the Meat Manager.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Cutting fresh meat using a knife and a variety of power equipment (grinder, band saw, tenderizer, patty maker).
- Wrapping and labeling product.
- Stocking pre-packaged meat product.
- Cleaning the department.
- Providing legendary customer service.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail meat department as a meat cutter.
- Above average communication / interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate staff to achieve high results.
- Previous management experience would be considered a strong asset.
