Servus is growing We are looking for a Deposit Strategy Data Analyst in our **Member Experience and Operational Connect department.**

The Deposit Strategy Data Analyst drives external and internal research and reporting to support the credit union’s overall strategic plans and business objectives as it relates to retail and business deposits. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for the credit union through strategic marketing insights and data mining maximizing Return On Investment (ROI) and deposit growth through member and potential members acquisition and retention programs.

This position relies on key data sources such as market intelligence, internal member insights, campaign tracking, internal financial performance, and market share resources. The Deposit Strategy Data Analyst must be able to use research outcomes and analysis to develop meaningful recommendations on key deliverables. This position assists in the development and refinement of the deposit strategy including acquisition and retention identifiers.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Member Deposit Analytics:

- Planning and managing data on credit union members to assist in tactical implementation of corporate strategies.
- Compiling and interpreting data to create meaningful summaries for branches, business lines, departments and senior management that identify new opportunities and potential gaps for the credit union.
- Recommending direction and initiatives based on on-going assessments to assist the company and branches in meeting goals.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining of robust reporting to visualize deposit results.
- Deploying analytical tools and reporting to analyze large data sets and develop custom reporting to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in the data.
- Managing current and future needs in data design, structures, content and inventory.
- Deposit Strategy:

- Working alongside all retail, wealth, business banking lines in conjunction with analyzing member data to understand product needs.
- Providing consumer and member insights to help ensure maximum deposit growth. Activities include:

- Assessing market possibilities
- Recommending target groups
- Contributing to the development of campaign goals
- Coordinating contact lists
- Implementing traceable measures for campaigns and provide timely measurement of results
- Creating a post-campaign analysis with recommendation for future initiatives
- Identifying key insights into of members and deposits retention
- Working along with Market Insight teams and Marketing team members including the Product Specialist in determining consumer financial needs and preferences, channel usage, product preference and other consumer insights.

**Requirements**:
To qualify, you will need at least the following:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in marketing research with a thorough knowledge of research methodologies and strategic principles.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with database management are necessary.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and presentation is required.
- Considerable skill in consolidating complex data into consumable reports for strategic insight distribution.
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience considered.
- Experience in the financial industry is an asset.
- Technical Designations are valued, but not required at this time.
