Gas Dock Attendant
Full-time (Seasonal)
Daytime, Weekends, Holidays
$15.50 to $17.50 based off experience
Plus tips
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Safely open and close the gas station every morning and night
- Track Fuel levels in tanks & on computer tracking system
- Ensure there are no safety hazards present
- Assist customers when bringing their boats in to purchase fuel or get a pumpout
- Pump fuel and pumpout waste tanks
- Handle cash, credit and debit transactions
- Track customer information who are using the boat launch and arriving for transient mooring
- Sell and distribute parking passes
- Monitor parking areas to ensure everyone has a pass
- Assist in daily cleaning duties such as cleaning washrooms, and emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Deal with customer concerns in a calm and effective manner and/or getting a supervisor to assist
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to speak French an asset, but not required
- Leadership experience considered an asset, with the possibility to move into a management position
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work long hours on your feet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Ability to change tasks quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- Experience with boats an asset
Position to start immediately
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
**Salary**: $15.50-$17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability
