Academy Petroleum Industries Ltd is currently pursuing to hire two full-time 3rd, 4th year Apprentice or Journeyman Machinist's. We are looking for applicants with **Weiler, Fanuc, or Fagor lathe experience**. We machine a wide variety of parts, including some repair work.

Wage negotiable, based off experience

Day Shift Position: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Minimum 4 years machining experience required.

Academy Petroleum Industries also provides a apprenticeship program.
- Applicants are required but not limited to:_
- Set up and make their own programs.
- Setting up large parts is an asset.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
- Having experience with cutting a variety of Internal and External Threads is an asset
- Work efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Able to adapt to urgent tasks that may occur.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of and ability to use quality inspection and measuring tools
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues
- Ability to machine tight tolerances consistently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
