**Laboratory Technician, Inorganic Air Testing**
**(1-year contract)**

**As a Laboratory Technician, your main responsibilities are to**:
Provide technical support in Inorganic Air Lab following established procedures. The analyst is required to:

- Prepare and analyse ambient filters for gravimetric analysis according to Method IO-3-1.
- Prepare and analyse stack samples for gravimetric analysis according to EPA M5 & M202.
- Prepare and analyse dust fall samples for gravimetric analysis according to ASTM D1739.
- Maintain and verify lab equipment such as balances, ovens, and pipettes on a daily basis.
- Adhere to WHMIS requirement and observe Bureau Veritas Safety Rules.
- Review workload summary generated by Bureau Veritas LIMS on a continuously basis.
- Perform other special/non-routine projects as required.

- You possess a post-secondary education and/or equivalent related work experience in analytical laboratory.
- You possess analytical problem solving skills and excellent documentation skills.
- You have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
- You are detail-oriented and organized.
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook, and a "can-do" attitude.
- You must be able to work afternoon and/or weekend shift.

**Must be able to work flexible shifts, including afternoon and weekends to meet business requirements**
